Northern Madagascar presents us with an authentic pearl, a seductive wonder of nature: two islands carpeted with a flourishing vegetation which come together to create, during low tide, a single island, thanks to a ribbon of pure coral sand. A short stop near the fishermen’s nets, awakening memories of the past, and then a visit to the lighthouse, from which they can admire a polychrome and infinite sea scenery – a magic and spectacular show, where the lights, colours, shadows and shapes follow one another in a ceaseless merry-go-round.
A protected natural aquarium. A minuscule, seductive, delightful volcanic island, populated with flying foxes and lemurs, lying down on superb seawater, with its thousand shades of green and azure, surrounded by radiant Madre pore depths. Peaceful turtles and swarms of colourful fish come alongside visitors in the crystal clear and silvery water, a real paradise for snorkelling and diving.
Typical pirogues allow visitors to reach the beach of the traditional fishermen’s village. From here the equatorial primary forest of Lokobe branches out, famous for its absolute absence of poisonous animals. Since it encloses numerous endemic species of the island, both plants and animals, during the walk it is possible to meet lemurs, chameleons, as well as peaceful boa constrictors.
