Below are a few sample itineraries as a guideline only. Upon arrival on the yacht, the skipper will discuss a route with you to suit the weather and your requirements. Combination packages with land accommodation and yacht charter can be arranged, as well as the ultimate extended yacht trips from Anjajavy to Nosy Be.

Late arrival (approx. 20:00) at Nosy Be Airport from Johannesburg. You will be met by a representative of Joz-Joz Adventures and transferred to Nosy Lang at Madirokely beach whilst your luggage is being transported to the yacht. After welcome cocktails, you will be transferred to the yacht for dinner, prepared by our chef.
Visit Nosy Komba Lemur Park and cultural village. The highlight is to see the Black Lemur, who will happily jump all over you. The village offers excellent woodcarvings, hand embroidered table cloths and souvenirs, and also the best vanilla pods. After the visit, depart to Mamoko and do some fishing en route. Overnight anchorage in the beautiful bay of Mamoko.
After a visit to the ruins of the old Russian Fort, depart to Nosy Iranja, a beautiful island with pristine white beaches and clear turquoise water. This is an excellent place to relax on the beach and a very good snorkelling spot. Our crew can take you on a guided walk through the small village up the hill to the old decommissioned lighthouse. The lighthouse was designed by Gustav Eiffel, and is almost 100 years old. The top of the hill offers stunning views. Later in the afternoon, depart for Barahamamay, also known as Honey River, for overnight anchorage.
Snorkel in the morning and a walk on Nosy Fanihiy. Later, return to Madirokely where the trip started. Back at Madirokely, you can either visit the main town, Hellville for some shopping and in the evening go to Ambatoloaka, which offers vibrant restaurants and pubs.
After breakfast on the yacht, sail to Nosy Tanikelly, a marine reserve offering excellent snorkelling and a beach visit. After lunch depart for Amparongina village at Nosy Komba. Overnight anchorage at Nosy Komba.
After a short visit to the village to see the giant tortoise and lemurs, depart to Kalakajoro and Russian Bay. Overnight anchorage at Russian Bay, a beautiful calm anchorage and an excellent spot for casual fishing. Dolphins and turtles often visit the bay.
After a paddle by pirogue through the mangroves (optional), depart for Nosy Sakatia and do some fishing en route. Overnight anchorage will be in a calm bay at Nosy Sakatia. These waters are alive with turtles.
Early morning transfer to Nosy Be Airport for the flight back to Johannesburg.
